"REACH OUT OF THE BOX..."
The world is fascinating. BUT...Americans also have a lot to see right here on "home" soil. Reach out of the box (nearby...or in your own state) the next time you want to find an interesting location. Some call it a "STAYCATION..." Our great National Parks can help.
The picture below can link you to the US National Park Site. You'll be amazed at the venues and camps, events and cultures that we have RIGHT HERE.

SPORTING CAMPS: COMFORT & CUISINE
How often do we hear comments about Network Television and the shortcomings presented by run of the mill productions or dramatically produced, exorbitant programs that repeat "the repeated?" Our goal at Over The Cliff Productions is to create and film TV series (and selected, unique Outdoor Lifestyle Specials) which are both timely but also informative and "viewer-rewarding." We see Cable TV as the direction most viewers prefer, especially relating to "Comfort & Cuisine"
Unless the viewer is really engaged in a TV show...we all know that watching television means "changing channels..." On the other hand, if viewers are offered an interesting storyline and personalities who support the episode... "Voila! C'est la vie en rose..." We have no "Stars..." We prefer that each venue we visit provides us with its own personality.
Over The Cliff's current project began filming last September...in remote, wilderness areas of Northern Maine. Over 14 months ago, OTC's Advance Team had made the initial contact with diverse Sporting Camps across the Eastern United States. We found Maine's millions of acres of accessible wilderness to be one of the key components in the new TV series we envisioned. After scouting-out locations for a potetentially exciting and weekly ON-LOCATION "lifestyle and food show," it was decided to film the first series entirely in Maine. No other states in the East (although there are a number of great camps in Eastern Canada)... could provide television viewers with the disparate number of sporting camps, "personalities," owners, chefs and unique recipes. Maine was the "10" we sought, prior to venturing "out West" with this series. And winter in Maine has surely added to the excitement, from being stranded to having flights cancelled.

 |
| What a fabulous area to be on-location. Shooting 76 miles from the nearest "corner" store... Jeremy Despres fears not the lurking bear and 2 cubs...it's more about "where can I get the best shot?" One thing's certain..."out here you need good hearing and a sense of lead-time!" |

| Crowded kitchens anyone? Add lighting, 4 cameras and intense heat! Shooting the series "SPORTING CAMPS: Comfort & Cuisine" has become a "love affair" for all of the staff and individuals who we meet at the camps. It's all about "attitude..." |

|
 |
| Many on-location sites are exciting to get to...let alone "set up..." Here, the previous night yielded 8 inches of snow. The locals say, "It happens." |
